A friend (you know who you are) sent me this link. Apparently there's a live-action “Fat Albert” movie under production.

I think any attempt to convert any successful funny cartoon (not the super-hero stuff, but comic cartoons) is ill-fated and should not be pursued. I might be wrong here, but my quick mental list of comic cartoons that have been made into live-action movies (Flintsones? Scooby-Doo?) consists of flops.

I'm willing to be proven wrong on my assertion that all such past endeavors have been flops. Drop me a comment if you've got an example of a non-flop comedic-cartoon-as-live-action-movie.

Don't forget about Garfield. When I climbed on board my recent flight from Cincinnati to Seattle and saw that Garfield was the in-flight movie, I was super-duper glad I had just purchased a pulp fiction novel at the airport bookstore! It was torturous enough without the headphones.

I'll take your assertion and multiply it: Not only is this a cartoon-movie adaptation (strike one), it stars Kenan Thompson (strike two), of Nikelodeon "Kenan and Kel" uh ... "fame", and also of the terrible movie "Goodburger". "Welcome to Goodburger, home of the goodburger, may I take your order?" No, no, and no. Three strikes, and yer out.

This moive is wonderful with perfect 3D graphic. Garfield in the movie is really a cool and smart cat who can dance admirably. When he went to the tall building to saved the dog Odie and went down, it was very cool! But it was so dangerous when he dropped down from the tall building.
The story line is superb and jokey, and the actress is very beautiful and cute. It was very incredible for Jon that the girl could love him, I also have the same feeling and the same experience with Jon.
