I'm Scared ...

I haven't read this, and I don't want to. I consider it my bloggerly duty to at least post concerning it.

I did check out the sample chapter. Let me just say, if you look at it ... you were warned. Keep a bucket nearby in case you can't stand the nausea.

Of course if God did have a blog, I would think that it would be a blog and not a book. My co-worker (http://www.nowheresville.us/arch/2005_10_01_old1.php#113044133487652471) received a free copy of this book by attending the GodBlogCon, and after reading through a number of pages I am certain that your advice for a bucket is valid. It's always unfortunate when people try to write from God's point of view. I don't live too from the palatial absurdities known as Trinity Broadcasting Network; on their electronic sign hanging over the freeway they have messages from God, such as: "I miss you -- God."

Ouch ouch ouch. Ouch. I wonder if the author went outdoors while he was making it....and noticed that God's creation is not so trite and not so tacky. I hope the red scribbles don't catch on in blog-land.

Well, I will have to disagree with everyone in this one! I loved this book! It was cool to me to look at things from a different perspective! I highly recommend it!
