Kevin P. Edgecomb (whose blog biblicalia should be more widely read than it is) is the host and proprietor of BSC:XXVI. Step right up and check out the fantabulous job he did in assembling this month's montage of Biblical Studies monotony ... er ... uh ... well, I need something to alliterate with the 'm' vibe there ... read on and you will surely see that the Biblical Studies blogosphere is definitely not monotonous.

Oh, thanks Rick! I just try my best.

If it's any consolation, don't rely on the Technorati ratings. I've gone over it with them a zillion times to get it fixed and properly updating, but it's hopeless. During a brief period when I was working, about 4 months ago, my ranking was between 99 and 110, I recall. Suffice it to say, biblicalia is definitely read by a large number of people, but the tools that measure these things aren't all they're supposed to be. My traffic over the last six months increase so much I had to upgrade my hosting plan twice. I don't want to turn on the logging because the resource usage goes up that way (and thus the bill!), and I also don't want the temptation of pride to creep in, which I know it certainly would. It's good to know that some large-ish number of people read it and find it of value, judging by the emails I get.

I certainly appreciate the concern, though!

Oh, and that's a great picture, too!
