Time for an update, even though not much has visually changed. In the past few weeks I've popped some "skim coats" of epoxy on the hull. I think it's ready to be varnished. Now I'm working on the deck.

I finally got rid of some nasty drips under the coaming lip. I slapped 60 grit sandpaper that is used by a detail sander onto a putty knife, and used that to attack underneath the coaming and get it all in order. I also trimmed the hatch lips, as you can barely see in this picture. The hatch covers fit a bit more snugly now. You can also see the deck is shaping up nicely.

From the front. I'm hoping that I have applied the penultimate skim coat, and will apply the ultimate (final) skim coat tonight. After that -- sand, varnish, repeat. Then bulkheads. Then rigging/outfitting. Then ... WOO HOO!
