The cockpit coaming is essentially done. I've got six layers of resin over the coaming, I figure that'll do the trick. I sanded between layers, to smooth things out a bit. |

From the back. Getting in that recessed area was a bit of a pain. It's pretty sloppy. I simply figured more was better than less. The worst part was the bottom of the coaming lip. Getting it relatively smooth (it was a veneer of six 1/16" strips) was a pain, and I really didn't do that good of a job of it. I'm hoping that slopping the resin in there has sealed it. I sanded most of the drips between layers, but it is still a little gloppy down there. |
