The kayak work is going on hold for awhile. I'm in the process of moving, and I'm guessing I'll have a two to three month pause while I get everything in order. So, since the halves are 'glassed, my plan is to tape the thing together and just move it as one unit.

The deck and hull don't fit together like a glove, however. Here is a shot of the largest gap, almost 1/4 inch. I'm thinking that some strap-clamps of some sort could be used to provide the necessary force to line up the halves.
