Now it is time to reinforce the seat area inside the hull. Here I've cut a piece of cloth to fit the area. Actually, it is a bit wider than I need. I also used masking tape to tape up the ends to keep them from fraying.

Here the same piece has had resin applied. The idea is to, after the resin is at the green stage, to cut the ends off with a utility knife.

I also 'glassed the inside of the deck. At the ends, where I used small remnants of fiberglass, I also used the masking tape method to prevent fraying of the ends.

Here's a photo of both the deck and the hull.

In this photo, I've cut off the end of the piece of fiberglass reinforcing the seating area. You can see where the 'glass used to be by looking at the blue tape. Here, instead of those nasty frays elsewhere on the boat, all that is left is a clean line with no frays. This is the way to do it. All I did was to use a utility knife to cut through the glass, prior to completely drying.

This is the other side of the same hull piece.

This is the rear of the inside of the deck. Again, I used the masking tape method here to prevent fraying.

This is the tip of the inside of the deck. Here, I had a little problem. Resin accumulated in the area the tape covered. You can see it caked there in this shot. If this wasn't the inside of the deck, I'd be worried about it.
