After the sealer coat, I decided to use a "fillet" to ease the transition between the cockpit recess and the coaming. This is pretty much like caulking the crack, only using a epoxy schmutz mix of stuff to compose the compound. I used a mixture of sawdust, silica, and microballoons for this. You can see it in the joint in this photo.

Here's a look at the fillet from the front.

From the side.

From the side as well. With this one, you can see some of the leftover schmutz above and below the fillet. I'm unsure how to go about cleaning this up. I think I need to let the epoxy cure and then sand it. Ugh.
