I concentrated on sanding around the cockpit area. This photo is of the back of the coaming area, an area where I had some problems while stripping. You can see some massive cracks that I'll need to fill.

Another look at the same area. You can still see the cracks. This will take some time to fill up and fix.

A look at the coaming and cockpit area from a different angle. You can see that it is coming together nicely, as is the balance of the deck. I started off sanding the coaming with 60 grit sandpaper because it was pretty rough. In hindsight, 80 grit would most likely have been adequate as cedar is pretty soft wood.
