More sanding. So, not much will be visible with these pictures, apart from the lack of leftover epoxy schmutz that you can see in the photos from Aug. 25. In addition, I spent some time sanding around the coaming. I need to do more of that. |

This is an interesting photo of the back of the boat. This the red cedar with the really dark shade. Now that I'm sanding, you can really start to see the differing grain patterns. I'm hoping that, once epoxy is applied here, this area will really start to look cool. |

A closer look at the back section of the boat, where the yellow cedar meets the red cedar. You can see I've got some problems, particularly where the red cedar "border" strip meets the normal red cedar strips. Much filling and sanding will ensue. |

An even closer shot of the same section. Here you can see the area of the yellow cedar that has been filled with epoxy schmutz, but you can also see the gaps and chunks in the red cedar that need to be filled. It seems that the darker red cedar is a bit more brittle than the lighter red cedar. |
