I've cut the cord on the hull. I'm going to let it just sit and cure for a week or so. I'll focus my attention on the deck now. This is a view of the hull from the rear. After a week or so, I'll sand this puppy down to take off the drips, glops, and get 'er down to a silky-smooth sheen. |

Here's an interesting picture. I began to plane the deck. Here, you can actually see the difference between the surface that has been planed, and the surface that hasn't been planed. |

The Western Red Cedar seems easier to work with than the Alaskan Yellow Cedar. Here you can see that I've planed most of the surface around the front of the hull. If you look, you can see a few spots that I missed (doh!) and you can also see that it'll be more difficult to handle the spot where the two types of wood meet. |

And here's a shot of the front from the top. Again, you can see that it has been planed (for the most part). With just a little more work, this area will be ready to sand. |
