Not much to report. I think I'm at a point where visible progress will take longer to register. This is a "pre" photo. Today I started the process of laminating the finger-joints on the end. It will consist of removing staples, planing down the ends to a smooth surface, filling some holes, laminating strips on the end, and letting glue dry. This is the "before" picture of the finger joint at the front of the boat. |

Here you can see where I've stuffed some small pieces of cedar into some of the more gaping holes in the finger joint. This will be mostly covered up anyway, but it seemed like a good thing to use wood to fill the larger gaps. I'll use an epoxy mixture to fill the smaller stuff. |
