The forward half of the "hole" in the middle is complete. You can see how it all fits together in this shot.

A view from the side. The piece of blue tape marks the form where the cockpit cut-out will start. Of course, you most likely deduced that based on the length of the strips and the remaining hole in the middle of the boat.

A close-up of where all the wood meets at the forward joint in the bow. I'm quite pleased with the way this turned out. Hopefully it looks as good after the boat has been planed and sanded.
